Detective stories are very popular in American movies. James Bond is probably the most famous crime-solving movie character. This character has been in 22 movies, from 1962 until now. The next James Bond movie will come to theatres in 2011.
When I was a little girl (a long time ago!), the most popular detective movie was The Pink Panther. The Pink Panther movies were comedies, about a clumsy French detective, Inspector Clouseau (played by British actor Peter Sellers).
Charlie's Angels was a detective show famous for its sexy female detectives (played by Jaclyn Smith, Kate Jackson, Cheryl Ladd, and Farrah Fawcett). This show was on TV in the 1970s.
In the 1990s, Canadian comedian Mike Myers created the character Austin Powers - a time-traveling British "ladies' man" who always tried to stop Dr. Evil (who was also played by Mike Myers). These movies are called "spoofs" because they make fun of the James Bond movies of the 1960s.
CSI is probably the most popular detective TV show nowadays. The show CSI is actually many different series that take place in different American cities and have different characters. The theme songs ("OST") for these shows all comes from British rock band "The Who" - most of these theme songs are older songs that were famous in the 1970s.

I looked many detective movies. I remember Memories Of Murder, 2003 one of many korean fetective movies. This movie looked the consecutive murder incidents. Many female die the heart-rending features by criminal. Two actor in charge of the detective played the genuine detective. Becuase this movie is based on real consecutive murder incidents. But detectives don't catch criminal both this movie and real murder incidents. I was very

I like detective movies. Because detective movie is very exciting. My favorite decetive movie is Voice Of A Murder,(2007). The story of Voice of a Murder is a kidnapping.kidnapper kidnap a child. And a kidnapper demand for 100,000,000(won) money of child parents. Despite the request of parents, The kidnapper killed the child. And kidnapper run off with money. The result policeman lost the kidnapper. This movie is many sadly story. But Kotean CSI advance now.

I don't like detective movie. Because many detective moives show realistic. I got a shock becuse of this detective movie that is 'Seven Days'. This miove title is abduction case and murder case.

In korea, many "Korean detective Movie" were successful. Old Boy(2003) one of fameous korean detective movies is best of best. the villain of Old Boy shut in hero in small room for 13 years. After, hero looks for the villain. And hero is abous to kill him.

I like all the movies, as well as detective movie. last year, I watched a detective movie "the chaser". This movie is very excitng, and actors acting is realistic. For this reason, I like this movie. In this movie, a criminal is described very smart, and cruelly. When he is caught, he ran away cleverly. He kills neighborhood horribly. the chaser trying to catch him. the cahser is sharp. but he fail to catch the suspect.

The movie that i recently saw was shadow murder. It's a movie that searches for the killer through reasoning. and the Chaser, Seven days... many movies. the Chaser character is Psychopath. Almost movies characters are cruel and fearful. the Seven days are many twists to the plot. It was a dramatic turnaround. It's the old story that there is a reversal in movies. I like all reversal movies. I often watch an America drama. very exciting and give the admonish. for example, Supernatural, Heroes, 24Hours, Mentalist...!!!
There are so many detective movies that I have see .But I have not watched Korean films.In the word I think the china detective movies are more interesting than others. The reasons as follows

Secondly, the detective movies bring us a lot of knowledge. If we see the illegal of things happened , we will take measures to stop it right now.
Finally, it is different from the western detective movies. The backdrop of movies are very simply and the story is very true.
